Pressure Cooker and Blender Injury Lawyer

Serving clients throughout PA, NJ, NY, MD and DC. If a pressure cooker, a BlendJet blender or a Ninja single serve blender burned or cut you, you may have a claim. Siddons Law Firm is reviewing these claims now.

Why we ask you to email us first

Product injury claims depend on the product and the records: the model, the lot or serial number, proof of purchase, and the treatment you received. A phone call cannot confirm those. Email us a short description of what happened, and we will reply with the list of records we need to review your claim.

What the cases are about

Three sets of claims are being reviewed together because the proof is the same in each one.

  • Pressure cookers. Lids that can be opened while the pot is still under pressure, spraying scalding food on the user. The Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued recalls on several brands.
  • BlendJet 2 portable blenders. Recalled in December 2023 after reports that the blades can break off and that the blender can turn on by itself.
  • Ninja single serve blenders. Reports that the jar can rupture during use and spray hot contents on the user.

Who may qualify

  1. You bought the product and it failed during normal use.
  2. You were injured and a doctor or a hospital treated you for it.
  3. You still have the product, or at least the parts and the packaging.

What to send us

  • Photographs of the product, including the model and serial numbers.
  • Your proof of purchase, or the order record from the store or website.
  • Photographs of the injury and the emergency room or doctor records.
  • Any claim or complaint you made to the manufacturer.

One thing to do now

Keep the product and every piece of it, including the lid, the gasket, the jar and the box. Do not send it back to the manufacturer, and do not accept a replacement in exchange for returning it, until we have looked at your claim. The product is the evidence.
