The Law Office of Michael Alan Siddons, Esquire and its attorneys act as a “debt relief agent.” Services provided include, but or not limited to, “bankruptcy assistance.”
As a debt relief agent, we are prohibited from advising a potentially assisted person to incur debt in connection with the filing of a bankruptcy case.
You are a potentially an “assisted person.”
If you decide to seek bankruptcy relief, you can represent yourself, you can hire an attorney to represent you, or you can get help in some localities from a bankruptcy petition preparer who is not an attorney.”
 A “debt relief agent” is defined as “any person who provides “bankruptcy assistance” to an “assisted person” in return for the payment of money or other valuable consideration, or who is a bankruptcy petition preparer. 11 U.S.C. 101(12A)
 “Bankruptcy assistance,” is defined as including any services provided to an assisted person “with the express or implied purpose of providing information, advice, counsel, document preparation, or filing, or attendance at a creditor’s meeting or appearing in a case or proceeding on behalf of another or providing legal representation with respect to a case or proceeding under this title.” 11 U.S.C. 101(4), (A).
 An “assisted person” is defined as any person whose debts consist primarily of consumer debts and the value of whose nonexempt property is less than $150,000.00. 11 U.S.C.101(3).

What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
